Effectively, allowing fans a to collect legendary movie artifacts and a chance to own a piece of cinematic history. The collection, founded by siblings Irving and Paula Klaw in 1938, consists of stills from Hollywood movies that have shaped popular culture for decades. From Scarface to James Bond and Star Wars, the collection includes iconic images of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Audrey Hepburn, and Jack Nicholson.The NFT collection, named “Hollywood: from Golden Age to the First Blockbusters,” is set to launch later this month. To mint an NFT, buyers must first sign up for the whitelist, after which each wallet can mint one NFT for 0.5 ETH plus gas fees.Focus Bloc is at the forefront of integrating vintage photography into the Web3 ecosystem, and its upcoming NFT drop is another step forward in this direction. By verifying the ownership and legitimacy of a given photo, NFTs provide a level of security that was previously unavailable. This also allows photographers to create scarcity for their work, choosing edition sizes and creating a level of provenance. In addition, NFTs make it easy to trade, buy, and sell vintage photographs, creating a more fluid market for photography.Focus Bloc Past Experience in the NFT SpaceThis is not the first time that Focus Bloc has ventured into the world of NFTs. Prior to the upcoming, the team already launched a successful NFT collection in collaboration with the French-language weekly news magazine, Paris Match. The collection, titled, “Focus Bloc – The Iconic Model of the Past,” showcased 120 vintage photos from famous French photographer, Jean-Claude Deutsch, featuring 23 celebrities, including David Bowie, Brigitte Bardot, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Michael Jackson.These photos were taken between the 1960s and 1990s, capturing these celebrities at the peak of their fame. The collection was launched in January and has had a lifetime volume of 31 ETH, with the current OpenSea floor sitting at 0.7 ETH and a recent sale of 0.8 ETH in early April.
