Doodles, the entertainment company behind the popular NFT PFP collection, has announced the launch of Doodles Records in partnership with Sony’s Orchard. The new record label’s first project is the soundtrack for “Dullsville and the Doodleverse,” scheduled to premiere later this year.Doodles Records’ initial release is an EP featuring a three-song soundtrack for the upcoming short film which includes “Not in the Store” by Coi Leray, “Can’t Hold Me Down” by Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Kyle Richh and  “Doodleverse (Draw Me Closer)” by Swae Lee, Lil Yachty, and Pharrell Williams.These music releases will feature animated videos directed by Doodles’ founder Burnt Toast, in collaboration with the in-house animation studio, Golden Wolf. Source: DoodlesWhat is ‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’?‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’ is a short animated film set to premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.The first trailer was released on July 17, taking viewers to the town of Dullsville, where imagination is controlled by the corporation Dream Pump Industries.The protagonists, Hap and his cat Mello, navigate a world of dull routines until a chance encounter with a Dream Pump Industries delivery truck transports them into the Doodleverse, a realm of boundless imagination. Hap must overcome his self-doubt and harness his creativity to return home, forever changing life in Dullsville. Early Access to Music and Video PremieresIn addition to the label announcement, Doodles has also launched DoodlesTV, a platform providing fans early access to music releases and video premieres.“Music is and will continue to be a core pillar of Doodles, so we’re thrilled to announce the official formation of Doodles Records,” says CEO of Doodles Julian Holguin. “Releasing music with some of the most legendary and relevant artists in the world on our first project is a dream come true and a massive source of pride.
